Laksa Sarawak in Seri Kembangan
Sarawak Laksa and Mee Kolok is now in Seri Kembangan!
The location : Tar Chong Restaurant and also Meng Hao Restaurant (formerly known as Ming Choo), both opposite Jusco Equine.
The guy who owned the new stall at Tar Chong Restaurant is the same guy who operate the Kolok Mee stall in Ampang Indah and Taman Sri Sentosa, an original Kuchingnite.
Above was the laksa that I tried. Since I went at 4pm, I think the gravy was not as nice as in the morning anymore. For RM5, the portion is very generous. I slowed down chewing when I reached the half-bowl, and it took me more than half an hour to finish all. After finish, the stall owner sheepishly came to me and asked for my comment.
Overall, okla I guess. Very acceptable, but as a local Sarawakian, definitely this guy cannot cheat us.
Be warned though that his Kolok Mee is not the original Sarawak Kolok Mee. Tastewise, it tasted correct, but not the noodle. He had to sell the one he had because the original Sarawak Kolok Mee 'tak laku', he said only Sarawakian would order. So now we've been campaigning to other friends who went there to pressure him to sell the original. If the other guy in Puchong can sell his very well, I'm sure this guy can also do the same.

Looks nice. Anyway, here in Sarawak also, the laksa at different stalls also tastes different - some not so good, some a lot better.
