Ashamed Being Called Dayak!

*puzzled*

Did anybody else feel offended being called a Dayak?

Because I don't. Never been.

As long as nobody changed my village or town name to become Medan Tun Razak or Sg Pinang, I'm fine.

See the related reports here.

p/s: For the Dayaks, if anybody question your bumiputera status, especially for those who staying in Peninsular Malaysia, mighthy please, put your head up high, stand your ground and fight for yourself! We are a dayak warrior descendents, for godsake.. hehe...

yea.. first change our village name and promised it will not change our identity. now start to take out the dayak name. I wonder what's next? Extermination?

Kak Midah; We know that most Sarawakian are accepting towards one another. Sometimes the threat coming from the inside is the one that is the dangerous kind.

A rose by any other name... I dunno why it seems that some people have nothing else better to do, digging up all this silly things! I'm sure there are A LOT of very important issues that need to be address. Like in the US, how is being called African American better than Negro? It's even worse, I think, as it differentiates them distinctly from other Americans.
