If you notice last week, Blogger (Blogspot) has announced that they have provide Blogger account in Malay languange, in recoqnition of large Malaysian Blogger users.
Yesterday, they have issued an official apology saying their system has mistakenly identified some Blogger based blog as a spam blog, and they are working on it to improve their system and repair the mistake.
I don't know about you, but from the above statement, it is obvious that Malaysia has been noticed much more on online community worldwide, as the two issue above in my personal opinion, has something to do with our current political circus. How so? One thing, a lot of Malaysian political-oriented blog has sprouting out especially these few years. This indirectly has benefited Google Blogger. Secondly, Malaysia former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamed blog at www.chedet.com which is a Blogspot based, has been mistakenly identified as a spam blog, and this has produced cries of foul from Malaysia online community. I do not read his blog so much, but I still feel strongly that his opinion does matter, whether it is out of self-interest or not.
Blogger seems to be slow in realising their mistake. Or maybe Google Malaysia is scared of the local government action. Anyhow, everybody do make mistake and it is good that they have acknowledged that. I do hope that they will kept to their promise and act as soon as possible. I always and will continue to be loyal to Blogger :)
