Let Me Be Home...

Seeing my Muslim friends in FB are gearing up for the coming Raya celebration, I couldn't help but feel joyous myself, but looking forward more for the long.. nah.. short break next week. I also took the change to bring my parents over. They'll be coming on Saturday, and we planned to drive to Segamat the very next day to celebrate First Day Raya with my aunt and stay for the night.

Anyway, I couldn't possibly take additional leave as I will be on standby, in case my juniours need me for testing and commissioning work for a project in Tawau, Sabah. By end of this week, if they face lots of trouble, I'll be joining them in Tawau starting next week Thursday, all the way until end of the month. Which means, I might have to leave my parents behind in KL. Praying that it won't happen...

uhh.. being on standby i the worst. In my line of work, we call it 'shit-in' and i can frankly say, I dislike it..
